About Me

Hi, my name is Elise and I’m an amateur baker and travel enthusiast living in Adelaide, Australia.

Food has always been an important part of my life, and the kitchen is the heart of my home. From a young age, I’ve enjoyed cooking alongside my Mum (an excellent cook herself), and have always loved the way food brings people from all backgrounds together.

Baking and desserts are what I am particularly passionate about, and so sweet recipes will form the bulk of this blog. I’ve had a sweet tooth for as long as I can remember; even as a baby I would spit out Mum’s lovingly made vegetable mashes in favour of Heinz’s dessert varieties!

Through this blog I will pass on some of
my favourite recipes along with tips and tricks I have learnt (often the hard way). Hopefully you will enjoy reading and trying my recipes as much as I have enjoyed creating them.
