Central & Eastern Europe Trip – August 2017

This coming August, my sister Laura and I will be off on a whirlwind adventure through Eastern and Central Europe. Laura will start University in Mannheim in late August for a semester exchange and, out of the goodness of my heart, I decided to ‘drop her off’ and have a holiday while I’m at it! I’m very excited to travel in this region after hearing glowing reviews from friends, and it will be great to spend time in a part of the world I’ve never been to before (plus a little European sea and sun never hurt anyone!)

Laura and I will start in Hungary where we will spend a day and half exploring on our own before joining a 15-day Balkan Explorer Topdeck tour through Hungary, Serbia, Bosnia & Herzegovina, Croatia, Montenegro and Slovenia. Then, after the tour, we will explore more of Slovenia, make a brief stopover in Austria (Sound of Music tour here we come) and have a couple of days in Munich before I head home and Laura goes to Mannheim. I’m counting down the days!!
